If you could ask God one question, what would it be?

Christianity Explored is an informal course for people who'd like to investigate Christianity, or just brush up on the basics. It explores who Jesus was, what his aims were, and what it means to follow him. You won't be asked to pray, sing or read aloud, and you can ask any questions you like. Or, if you prefer, you can just come along and listen. Christianity Explored has been around for over a decade now, and it's been designed to suit different age ranges and people.

A typical evening looks like this:

7:00pm Arrive for coffee and cake
7:30pm Group discussion 1
8:00pm DVD talk
8:25pm Group discussion 2
8:55pm Close

The full course consists of 10 sessions, generally run over 10 weeks, with an additional "day away" half way through. However, we understand that it's sometimes hard for people to commit to a full ten weeks, so we offer short version of the course with an option to complete the full course at a later date:

Short course:

Week 1: Introduction
Week 2: Jesus – Who was He?
Week 3: Jesus – Why did He come?
Week 4: Jesus – His death
Week 5: What is grace?
Week 6: Jesus – His resurrection

Full course adds:

Day Away: Exploring the Christian Life
Week 7: What is a Christian?
Week 8: Continuing as a Christian
Week 9: Choices - King Herod
Week 10: Choices - James, John and Bartimaeus
