Borderlands region

The Borderlands region was formed about six years ago with a vision to plant and develop churches in the Shropshire, Staffordshire and North Wales area. The region was initially formed by five churches joining together with this vision. Since that time we have planted new churches in Wrexham (2004) and Whitchurch (2008). Currently there are plans to plant another church in Deeside, North Wales.

Isaiah 54:2-3 tells us "Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes. For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left, and your offspring will possess the nations and will people the desolate cities."

"This what we are looking for God to do amongst us. To press ahead with church planting in our region, our focus will be on a God who has said enlarge, stretch, lengthen, not to hold back and to spread abroad", says regional leader, Nigel Lloyd.

Together at Borderlands is a regular event which provides a great opportunity for friendship and encouragement across our region. There will be excellent facilities for children and young people alongside our main adult programme. For details of the 2011 event, click here.

Together at Borderlands is also a great opportunity for visitors to come and join us for the weekend to get a feel for our vision and values. You can also get a taste of the event from previous talks and seminars available via these links: 2010, 2008
